Original Timeline History
Anita Jones (known only as Auntie Flattop in the original timeline) was the twin sister of a notorious contract killer from Cookson Hills Oklahoma, and would later take in his children after he died in 1944 (sliding timeline) Angelica, the older of the two children, ran away from home after her safety was compromised in the worst way (retconned into new timeline). Her little brother was a quiet, intelligent, and sociopathic child, who took far too much after their father, Floyd Sr. Anita was widowed and had to raise Junior on her own, but was unable to protect him either. After he ran away from home, he went on a crime spree with a fellow delinquent, killed a young woman, and drove himself insane. He would die at age 18 when he was about to kill a policewoman who accidentally stumbled upon his hideout.

Following Nicole Jones’s intervention in the past, a now-penitent Angelica begged Anita for her help in finding her long-lost mother, Stiletta Jones, who was touring Europe in the circus. Their search took both they and fellow Jones cousin Susan O’Copper to Copenhagen Denmark. Angelica not only found and reunited with her mother, the latter put to bed Anita’s fears of retribution and reprisal for not keeping her children safe. Stiletta would eventually leave the circus and return to the states, especially after learning that Angelica and her husband were having a second child.
Not long after Magda was born to Angelica and Rick, Anita’s health took a turn for the worse, and passed away in her sleep. While Angelica had terrible trauma from Anita’s husband, Anita was innocent in all of it, and it took Angelica decades to see that. While their living brother was not welcome at her funeral, Samuel, the eldest sibling, was distraught.
