Appearance and Personality Traits:

Evora Heyward is preternaturally similar to her father, 16-year-old Rafe Heyward, in many ways, including facial features and choice of hairstyle. This also makes her extremely close to looking like her generationally-preceding cousin Siobhan. Her usual attire is a haltered toga with gold rims on the sleeves. She always travels with her javelin quiver around her shoulders, and wears golden bracelet cuffs. She hates what she looked like before her gender conversion, and she has described it as a buck-toothed, pimply geek with a congested-sounding voice. This has been refuted by her brother, LaSabre Heyward of Mindy, as extremely false.

As far as personality, she, again, bears a strong distinction to her Slvsinoft, her temper has always been an issue, that she (before and after) was prone to severe anger and depression. Thanks to her mentor and having a sense of purpose, Eve is the most Zen and calm warrior the Neverscape has ever seen, as lethal as she is quiet. Eve’s loyalty is unquestionable, to both the Never- and Zetascapes, and to her family. Eve is also extremely selective when it comes to friends; she can see past the most silver-tongued liar thanks to her special powers (see below)

History

The first laugh of Rachel Heyward (now known as Rafe), was born a male fay named Arturo Canvasio, gifted with a remarkable talent for artistic expression, but in his heart, he was every bit as identical as his “mother”. Both parent and child were born in the wrong bodies, and were destined to go through the same trials and tribulations. Arturo had not been one to socialize with fellow magic-school students and kept to himself. Feeling like an abomination, Arturo did everything possible to research spells and procedures to change genders. With different species of fay, this would have been as easy as pie, but the magical makeup of slvskorn fay was more complex, at least without royal help.

Arturo’s teacher, Princess Maddie, had sensed a special potential in this young fay, but there was a barrier keeping it from blossoming. She also saw that despite the beautiful masterpieces he crafted that put elder fae who studied all their lives to achieve what Arturo could do from birth, it was something he hated more than anything. It was eventually put to a vote by the Brotherhood of Pan and the Sisterhood of Bells as to whether or not Queen Aurora should intervene. The Pans were confused by why a boy wouldn’t be happy as a boy, but they still believed that it was what he wanted, so it was a no-contest ruling. Arturo’s slv cousin, LaSabre Heyward, was the one who personally broke the news to him and helped prepare him for the magical metamorphosis series of spells to come.

When it was all over, a few weeks after the vote, LaSabre was amazed to see the beautiful female fay that emerged from the Palace medical wing. Body was all-natural, voice was authentically female; no one would have been able to see the difference, but there was still a bitterness in the young fay. LaSabre spent a long time helping the girl, now calling herself “Evora” after the city their adolescent slvsinofts lived in, find her place in the Neverscape. The bitterness in her was fueled by her dysphoria at her former identity. This led to her temper becoming dangerously out of control when her former classmates began harassing her. No matter how many tried to stop her fights, Eve kept going right on without even a bead of sweat dropping. Queen Aurora knew of only one man who could help hone Eve’s skill as a fighter and teach her enlightenment, an experienced solider fae named Blazing Battles Foxman, the mentor to two successful Zetascape Special Forces agents.

A few years passed and Eve’s enlightenment and skills were at their maximum, her true power was not her combat skills as everyone thought, that was just a talent. When her giggle mother Rachel began to become as dysphoric about being a girl as Eve was at being a boy, her ability to see past Neskomf-level rage and emotions surfaced. She watched as her Slvsinoft was about to attempt suicide at age 7 by trying to ingest red frosting, her worst allergy. The chairs that Rachel stacked up to get to that cabinet began to collapse, but in that very instant, Eve was able to travel through the dimensions, but a fraction of a second too late to do anything to break Rachel’s fall. All she could do was take on a spider form and never leave her side. Her heart warmed when Linda and Mindy finally began addressing Rachel as Rafe, accepting that she was actually a boy.

Seeking Cinna’s Past

After the defeat of Petra Pan’s hated enemy, Overlord James Huek, Eve started to feel a strong warmth emanating from Earth. It was Rafe’s heart opening up at full blast; his friendship with Twi-Lan cemented, his relationship with Gwendy having been made official, and a new friend in the form of Mina Elechad herself. From afar, Eve was not yet ready to reveal herself to her father, even when he was at his lowest moment, nearly being expelled from RHS because of taunts from other students escalating into hate speech. Eve put all her faith into Team Panfan and into her father, having taken comfort that her Aunt Mindy had finally set things right with Rafe, and Neil (who rejected Rafe before his transformation from Rachel) having mended his ways and returned to Remington to support Rafe.

After Gwendy’s Quest into the Zetascape to restore Olivia Schucart, it was deemed Eve’s time to come to Earth, with her new brother Sleetheart as her welcoming committee. During the past month, it had come to light through Misty Jones’s time-mapping spell that the Elechads were the cousins of Rafe and Mindy’s direct ancestor, Finnian Hardt. What was also discovered in a dark, desolate Neverzone dubbed the Betaverse Neverzone, Felipe’s slvskorte daughter, Cassia Cinnamelodia Elechad was discovered in a glass capsule in a cavern by Mina and Spencer, brought back to the Neverscape as an amnesiac, and taken on a new name, Cinnaminabhan Elechad.

Cinna’s quest for her memories and the life she lost resulted in her betraying Team Panfan and the Trinity by kidnapping Eve’s grandmother Linda Heyward and help engineer Joso Huek’s escape from his cell in the Jupiter Florida prison.
