Glossary N-Z

Glossary A-M

  • Neskomf Bomb: The ancient weapon of pure evil concentrated into a sphere that was forged of the blood of five men and the ground-up wings of a pixie fay. First known implementation was by Mordred La Fey, leading to the creation of Neverland and his demise in most timelines.
  • Neskomf Poison: The way a Fay or Pan Knight is poisoned by non-belief; it literally manifests as a toxin in that affected creature’s blood. Despite rumors, clapping does not negate it for non-slv Fay and humans.
  • Neverbeing: A term used to describe any resident of Neverland, excluding pirates.
  • Neverpier: A populated settlement on the coast of Petra’s Neverland established by the pirates as a hub for human trafficking, prostitution, drugs, booze, and other illicit activities allowed by Huek’s empire. When the Trinity of Pan defeated Huek and Mina Elechad was ascended as Petra Pan, the pirate’s vice-related criminal activities were once again outlawed and were wiped off the map. The tavern known as O’Flannigan’s was taken over by Mina and her father, Oz, making it a sarsaparilla joint with Mina as a part-owner. Also, Schmidt’s Book repository was reopened by Mina’s half-brother Angus in memory of their friend Sean Schmidt who was murdered by Heuk’s eldest son, Joso.
  • The Neverscape: A peaceful dimension that serves as the cradle of the Multiverse of Neverland’s. Ruled by Zetascapian princess Auroralania Faye, it was only made her home after she sent her daughter with Dajanoten Sol, Maddie, to Earth for her protection from the pirate uprising. Immeasurably vast and serene, it is the ideal place for flora and fauna, the latter of whom are sentient and intelligent, able to speak in nearly any language. The animals are safe because the fay love them and no predatory animals live there. It is easy for a Knight of Pan to Pansport there because it is the closest dimension to earth and is awash in a magical atmosphere that makes the trip not as taxing as other dimensions.
  • Nevertomes: The scriptures that consist of all spells that fay and Knights of Pan use. Not existing as a physical object, a small piece of it exists in the hearts of everyone in the multiverse that believes in magic and the inexplicable. Only by the chant of a Pan Knight or Fay can the tomes be reconstituted as their solid form.
  • Nevertribe: The tribe of people that are referred to as Indians. (Writer’s note: The reason I use this term is because I don’t want to offend the native tribes that still exist in the Southwest and other parts of the North American continent.) The Nevertribe are the same individuals in the different dimensions: There are infinite Tiger Lily’s and Tonja’s, and counterparts of Chief Dajanoten Sol.
  • Nimoy, Leonard: Known as Spock, Galvatron, Sentinel Prime; Leonard Nimoy is one of the best actors of all time. With no apparent connection to Dick Tracy or Peter Pan, his death in 2014 was what led to the park in Remington Springs to be named in his memory.
  • Nulltime: The equivalent of frozen time that those unaffected by Pan time freeze spells are able to pass through, measured in the same increments as normal time.
  • The Odin’s Eye: The gigantic, monolithic and evil warship that the James Huek of Petra Pan’s dimension used to conquer Neverland and invade Earth. Contained a vast prison block for captured lost boys and war criminals, bottom hull housed a lethal torture chamber filled with the most insidious devices. Thankfully, all of it was destroyed by the Trinity of Pan and Team Panfan and its owner was executed.
  • Order of Pan: Named after the favorite instrument of Oberon’s son Puck, the Order of Pan was conceived as a way to maintain stewardship and protection to the mass of land of Britain that was sent to a parallel dimension following the final assault of Mordred La Fey. Puck was named the guardian of this land that “Never should have survived.” Puck’s penchant for flutist music was passed on to orphans that found their way to Neverland centuries before the discovery of his greatest student, Peter. Due to their lack of discipline and understanding, most of these orphans were unable to harness the strongest of their magic and grew up. When this happened, they were pansported to earth as amnesiacs by Puck himself. Peter would be given guidance by the Nevertribe when he was still a toddler. It was when Peter became biologically 15 did he stop growing, having full belief in magic and in his slvksorte, Solin Fyre.
  • Panawan: A derivative term to describe a Pan Knight in training, a nod to Star Wars, it’s an unofficial term, but worthy to put in the glossary.
  • Pan-familiars: Also known as adoptslvs, this is the classification of magical creatures of the Neverscape who found their way to Earth and joined the families of Pan knights or inanimate stuffed animals or toys that were given life through pixie dust. Those of the latter category, their cells are enhanced with magical gears that share the spell-caster’s mitochondrial DNA, making them a blood relative of the family in a sense. These creatures are sentient and carry a great love for those who adopt them, making them also a lifeline in cases when Neskomf poison is a great risk to their parent.
  • Panflute: Like the object it’s named after, a Panflute is a wooden musical instrument akin to its counterpart. This object is a conduit for a Pan’s power, allowing them to perform feats of magic and spells from the Nevertomes. The originator of this device was the same Fay prince who created the Nevertomes: Oberon’s second born son, Puck.
  • Pan Powers: The basic powers a Knight of pan has are whatever they desire, though the use of their Panflute and the Nevertomes. Each Knight specifically has their own power, as do their sigoths who are not knights. Examples of this include Nicole Jones’ powers of healing as seen in Jones Sisters Meet Petra Pan, and Jillian Sanduvall-Jones’ truth-sensing abilities and love-induced sight.
  • Panputer: A quasi-sentient database that can find data outside of physical reach. Where computers can only access other mainframes and info inputted, the Panputer can augment a Pan’s powers and view past events and phenomena with help of the ethereal plane. While computers can only obey commands, the Panputer can go beyond normal limits as long as the user is pure of heart and believes in magic.
  • Pansformation: The verbal command and transformation of a knight of Pan from their quasi human form to fully fay Pan Warrior. Examples: FORCES OF VIRTUE ENVELOP ME! CHANGE ME BACK TO MY NEVERLAND IDENTITY (Bella Jones and later Sophie); PETRA PANSFORM (Mina); BY THE POWER OF THE PANS! (Ariella) Each is a reference to popular culture.
  • Pan Teleport: Just as the name says, a Pan picks a place they want to go and in mid-incantation they vanish with a bwip and in the next millisecond they land there.
  • Panterialize: Materializing objects into existence from nothing or teleportation from one location to another. The most common example is when a Knight of Pan summons their Panflutes into their dimension from an electrical pulse that exists in their nervous system.
  • Pantidote: The cure for Neskomf-poisoning has been recently discovered by one Nicoliania Faye Samantha Jones and her slvskorte, Kiki. Synthesizing the love energy of a slvsinoft for their slv, that energy fills up in the fay’s wings, becoming engorged in golden liquid. Injection into the abdomen is how the serum is supposed to work. Tests have not been done with serum that is made from a fay with a different mitochondrial DNA sequence than the victim.
  • Pan Trial: A test of character and endurance made specifically for that individual, often prior to the ascension of that person; though quite often Queen Aurora or Princess Maddie will decree that a knight will need to pass a new one as a test of the unexpected. A Pan Trial can be any number of things; for Jesse and Sophie Schucart, their Pan Trial was to go into their minds and fight the literal manifestation of their own fears that were intertwined with the other. While the name would suggest otherwise; there has never been a time when a knight has failed a Pan Trial.
  • PanVizor: A hi-tech set of specs, it allows its user to see in different polarization fields and light spectrums, navigate the Nevertomes without turning the pages, and has a direct link to the data-supercomputer on Polaris known as the Panputer. This technology was developed by Derrick Green and the scientific minds of the ethereal plane. Their other form is known as PanSpecs, which resemble normal human glasses.
  • Petra Pan: The title given to Mina Elechad upon her ascension as a nod to her desire to carry on the legacy and mission of the slain Peter of her dimension following the defeat and execution of her biological father, James Huek. Petra’s Pan power is the ability to detect mass quantities of gold and silver bullion that aids her in her quest to find and decontaminate the caches of treasure that her father scattered all over the multiverse. Rather ironic since her greatest fear is to be cursed with gold lust just like her sperm father; something that everyone else in the Order of Pan and royal family knows is scientifically impossible.
  • Polaris: The hidden magical-dimension that is forever bonded to the actual Polaris Star just like Neverland is to the star right next to it. A dwelling for lost souls, the Neverscape used it to give refuge to the disembodied souls of the royal family and those close to them. The Nevertribe’s science of homonculous-conjurism was sound, but Neverland’s atmosphere was not saturated fully with the right amount of magical energy to sustain that body, leading to the colonization of the sister-dimension of the Neverscape: Polaris. A modern-scientific lab was created following the death of Bella Jones’ love, Derrick Green. Polaris was used as a hub to watch over the sisters who would become the trinity and kept the unborn infant son of Derrick and Bella safe in a crystal chamber. Polaris is the home of the largest library of books outside of the Zetascape and has a reversed polarization of gravity for those who wish to read on the ceiling of the 60-story rotunda.
  • Prime Dimension: The original Neverland native to our universe, made so by it’s place in the multiverse and it being the first dimension parallel to the Zeta- and Neverscapes. The main distinctions are the presence of Giles Morgenstern and the marriage of the Neverchief to Queen Auroralania Faye, resulting in the birth of Tiger Lily’s half sister Princess Madalina Faye Arianna Jennings-Jones: grandmother of the Jones Sisters and their cousins. The Prime dimension is also the origin point of the wormhole.
  • Psicon: Short for “Psionic-conversation.” One who has an empathetic bond with someone who has Pan Magic or Fay magic can reach them via telepathy at any given time or place as long as there is not a manifestation of toxic level darkness or evil.
  • Psicon Bridge Link-up: Using the power of their Panflutes, a Knight of Pan can de-materialize into an electrical pulse and enter the heart chamber of a loved one’s mind, or a stranger depending on the direness of the circumstance. It is though this spell that the person they ported into can retreat from their physical consciousness and literally wake up in their own mind and interact with that Pan Knight and retain full memory of it.
  • Psivaults: The intangible section of a person’s mind where their most secretive and valuable information is stored out of reach of telepaths and empaths. During times of great stress, these barriers will open and information will leak out. All humans have these vaults but it is only certain individuals (not necessarily Pans) who are able to use them properly.
  • Rfaskinoft: A natural phenomena that happens in the atmosphere of Planet Earth and in the other dimensions. All that is known about it is that it interferes with both Fay and Pan magicks, and that it is characterized by crimson and violent storms that carry a super-concentrated ionic disruption. It was this energy that saved the life of the spider that would become known as Jennifer Jonescart thanks to Ariella risking her own life to absorb it with her Panflute.
  • Remington Springs: A fictional Missouri township, home to the Jones, Schucarts, and most of Team Panfan. Streets and landmarks are named after voice actors for some strange reason. Notable sites include Nimoy Park, Cullen Lake, WelkerBlanc Cemetery, O’Hanlon’s cafe, Kafe Soucie, RHS, and the mostly unknown catacombs.
  • Rigby, Cathy: Versatile actress who played Peter Pan on Broadway in the late 90s’s and on. Astounded her audience with her gymnastic ability and British accent.
  • Ritchard, Cyril: Australian actor known for his portrayal of Captain Hook in the Broadway and NBC Mary Martin version of Peter Pan, also following the pattern of the same actor to play George Darling as well as Hook like Hans Conried.
  • Rooster Booster Blast: Ariella’s signature attack, a ball of energy is gathered as she gives the verbal command and based on how angry she is, the more powerful it gets, can be used in tandem with Nicole’s signature attack to create a cascade of purifying flames.
  • The Rogue Neverland: A gigantic continent in another dimension that was created in the one timeline where Mordred succeeded. With no Puck and no Peter Pan, the Rogue Neverland served as Mordred’s base where he created an empire of cruelty and evil, using enforcers to destroy his rivals and annex their lands and property. Deep in its core are crystals of pure Neskomf energy from the battle of Tintagel. The RN was also the prison of Siobhan Elechad when she was bought from Heuk’s men following the Belfast Slaughter.
  • SigOth: A human term to describe one’s husband or wife; gay or straight. Since Fay don’t give credence to sexuality or gender in the way that humans do, they all but keep their hands off this one.
  • Skorvstina: The slvsinoft of a living fay between birth and age 13. While they are still the parent of the slv, the human child’s parent(s) is considered the slvsinoft of the slv until their child is 13. Rarely is this the case since before the forming of the Trinity, grown-ups lost faith and neskomfed their own slv to death. Mina Elechad and Spencer Jones are considered the first official slvsinoft of a grandslv. (Cherry Tart)
  • Slvsinoft (Sliv-sin- noft) The baby whose first laugh gave birth to their giggle child. The slvsinoft’s DNA is identical to the fay they gave birth to and share a connection to them, spiritually. (This was my own concept, a slvsinoft who believes is the mother or father of the fay they create)
  • Slvskorte: (Sliv-score-tay) The pixie born of a baby’s first laugh. Concept is taken from Sir Barrie’s explanation of how a pixie like TinkerBell is born. The shorter form of this word is often “slv.”
  • Sly Zoiyel: One of the core members of the multidimensional Lost Boys, Sly (short for Slightly) is far from the bumbling little kid that is seen in Panlore. The similarities of all the slys is that he and his brother elder brother, Nibs, are two of Peter’s loyalest friends and soldiers. Sly was the only one of the boys to ever dreamed of love and girls, this he kept to himself. In every dimension, Sly has carried hidden romantic feelings for Solin, who always welcomed and returned them secretly. In Petra’s Neverland, Sly was the last surviving member of the boys who fought alongside Mina Elechad and Felipe against the Hook of their dimension. Sly paid the ultimate price for his valor, but not before his love for Mina were reciprocated. Two other versions of Sly exist along the four points, Sly of the prime dimension, and Silas of the Beta dimension the common law husband of Jaguara Sol (his Tiger Lily)
  • Solin Fyre: The Slv born of the first laugh of the boy who would become Peter Pan. In each dimension They were the first parent -child paring in millennia to interact with one another, leading to a time of prosperity known as the Great Surge. Solin loved her father more than anything but each had a thing for the Sly of their dimension. The only difference is the Prime Solin finding her true love in Giles, while never losing her feelings for Sly. Each Solin of the multiverse share one other thing in common: They were murdered by James Huek the day he arrived in Neverland. This was the true catalyst for Peter cutting off Hook’s hand, in a blind fit of vengeful rage. Peter’s memories of Solin’s demise were dulled by magic that spread from Queena Aurora in the Prime dimension, who was the BFF of Solin Fyre, who became the guardian of her wings.
  • The Solin-Sly Foundation: A charitable organization founded by Mina Elechad-Jones with help from her adoptive mother, Queen Aurora. The name comes from the murdered slv of Peter Pan, Solin Fyre, and Mina’s departed first love, Sly the Lost Boy. Operating out of the Neverscape, it is used as a means to covertly help humans on Earth and creatures in other dimensions who were affected by her biological father’s, James Huek’s, tyranny. This is part of its mission, the rest is carried out by the foundation’s chairman, a fay named Lord Featherquill III Esq., a dear friend of Queen Aurora. Mina tasked the Lord with the day-to day operations using a heart-orb as the foundation’s guide. The money that funds it comes from the treasure caches that Mina and her husband Spencer Jones find throughout the multiverse that were Huek’s — that carry the taint of his evil, which Mina herself purifies by sending that evil force into the sun.
  • Solin’s wings: After the Prime Solin died from Huek’s combination of impalement and Neskomf poisoning, Solin’s body vanished into nothingness, leaving only her wings, now turned into a crystallized, jeweled set of wings, with Aurora as their guardian. Kept in the most secure vault of the royal treasure vaults, miles below the Neverscape castle, Aurora would make a pilgrimage on the anniversary of her death and privately grieve, as a testament to how dearly she loved her cherished friend. After her granddaughters, the Trinity of Pan learned the truth about their dimension’s Peter, Aurora revealed a secret to them, that Solin had been reborn as one of them. The box that contained Solin’s wings opened and in a flash of light, the wings were reunited with their owner: Ariella Jones, awakening the part of her that was Solin back then as a separate identity to her own.
  • The Sophcart Effect: Those in the close circle of Team Panfan will often find an irresistible desire for the love and affection of Sophie Schucart, oftentimes as a lesbian crush by some of the females of the group (even the straight ones). This effect was coined by Nicole Jones who has made no secret how much she admirers her surrogate big sister/distant cousin.
  • Sorority of Bells: Like the Brotherhood of Pan, the counterparts of Tinkerbell are all part of their own council, though the Disney version of Tinkerbell appears to have a multiple personality disorder, taking her off the active roster. Though they are slvskorn fay, only one of them has deeliebobs growing out of their head, the Fox verison. The other Tink that is not on the main roster is the Tinkerbell of Petra’s Neverland, due to the summons she received being unanswered because she could literally not leave her dimension without her Peter, who was murdered by Huek. The Sorority’s role is more of an internal relations role, keeping the Peters in check.
  • Specist: A pejorative term for Fay who view slvsinofts and humans as inferior for their attachments to one another. On occasion these are pixie fay who are not born of a child’s first laugh but through some metaphysical phenomenon, but it’s usually other slvs outside of the Jones family and Team Panfan . Their feelings of superiority are often viewed as snooty and elitist, but oftentimes are an inner cry for love to those they insult; having a personality disorder that prevents them from expressing their true feelings. Those are rare instances with the female slv, Phoenixia, of the Neverscape. A genuine case of pure specism is Dr. Mintleaf, a pixie fay doctor who was banished from earth to Jupiter’s moon, Io, until he has learned respect; following a 300,000 year exile.
  • Startorium: A mass of star matter that exists far below the Neverscape surface near the core of the planetoid it is comprised of. While normally the environs in that depth would be molten hot, it is near -70 degrees F. Even Fay and Knights of Pan cannot stay in that temperature for long, except for Siobhan Elechad, whose Pan Power is tolerance to subzero temperatures.
  • Summer, Cree: Well-respected Native American voice actor, daughter of voice actor Don Francks. Known as Penny from Inspector Gadget, Elmyra from Tiny Toons, and frequently as African-American characters. Portrayed Tiger Lily in the Fox cartoon of Peter Pan alongside fellow WB voice actors Jason Marsden, Scott Menville, and the man who would have been the Joker were it not for bronchitis, Tim Curry.
  • Surnames, useage of: A pattern that has emerged in the circles of the Trinity of Pan and their loved ones is that prior to marriage, a Pan takes on the surname of their sigoth in addition to their own, or in the case of two Schucart-Jones pairings, they merged their names (Jonescart). Another instance is as a term of endearment, Pans who are of the Jones family refer to one they love by their whole name: Ariella and Bella refer to Nicole oftentimes as Nicoliania Faye Samantha Jones because it rolls of the tongue like snow from a mountain.
  • Team Panfan: Supporters of the Trinity of Pan who are fans of Peter Pan. Roster consists of Twi-Lan Marsden-Jones as leader and Gwendy Schucart as defacto leader. As of now the list is too long to count.
  • Tears of love: The core belief of both Fay and Nevertribian people: emotions are healthy and tears are a sign of strength, non more so when one can look their sigoth square in the eyes and in their love they feel an elevation of prolactin. Oftentimes, the literal tears of love can enhance one’s magical abilities, as demonstrated by Bella Jones on their first trip to Polaris.
  • Tic Marks: A birthmark of symmetrical slashes on the cheeks of Jones women of fay royalty. Known as the “Mark of Aurora” or a “perpetual blush”, they come in either sets of two or three (or in Aurora’s case, in an /-\ shape rather than /// or //.) Known members to have this are Aurora, Maddie, Rebecca, Esther, Ariella, Lexi, Solin, and as far back as Queen Titania.
  • Tiger“: The pet name of Jesse Schucart by his true love, Princess Ariella Jae Natalia Jones(cart). From the moment they first met, Ariella has referred to Jesse with this term of endearment due to his cute exterior and brown hair and eyes like Tiger’s Eye. It was this love for Jess in such a manner that led Ariella to commission Nillavan to craft an engagement ring in the shape of a faceted apple made out of cosmic Tiger’ Eye rock, which she slipped onto his finger when she got down on one knee. Jess’s heart melted into heart-plasma when she did this and his eyes grow misty when she calls him Tiger. Jesse’s Pan power also is a reflection of this as he can assume an anthropomorphic Tiger form when he dons his Knight of Pan persona
  • Time Prayer Amulet: A heart-shaped pendant made from pixie gold and silver worn by Alexandriella “Lexi” Jonescart, Jesse and Ariella’s daughter from 400 years in the future. This pendant is combined with Lexi’s DNA and chronoton crystals to ensure that her birth is absolute despite any changes to the past she might make (besides interfering with her parents marriage). Esther Jones from the future came up with the protection spell, but it was Nillavan of the future that crafted the physical object.
  • Tri-kiss of Titania: Similar to Tic Marks, Jones girls who are of Fay lineage have a triangular set of freckles on each side of their cheeks, most often associated with red hair. Members who have it are Nicole, Kiki, Serena, and Callie. It is believed that these marks serve as physical manifestations of loyalty crushes as akin to the tic marks.
  • Trinidad: Singular for a member of the Trinity of Pan. Only three of them exist: Ariella Jones, Bella Jones, and Nicole Jones.
  • The Trinity of Pan: A trio of warriors that are destined to rise and lead the Knights of Pan against the forces of evil and defend the multiverse. They are also the guardians of the infinite Neverland’s that the wormhole intertwines with.
  • Valkyrie of Pan: A special class of Pan Knight that is more hi-tech and with Japanese style weapons. This title is only held by two knights of Pan: Gwendy Schucart and Twi-Lan Hu-Marsden. Speculation is that due to their overcoming their own self loathing and going the distance for people they care for; their personal growth led Queen Aurora to instill this special classification, but no definitive proof exists.
  • The Void: An empty vacuum of nothingness which is used as a place of privacy for Pan and fay alike, with a protective, quintuple redundant Panshield and a month’s worth of compressed oxygen for each trip. Twi-Lan Marsden and her imazti, Nicole, often use it as their love nest.
  • Warp Bracelet: A gift from Lexi to four very special members of her family: Her father Jesse and his sister Sophie, and her uncle Spencer Jones and his sister Serena (Referred to as Aunt Rini). Each bracelet is woven faux leather with a silver charm in the shape of a Panflute tied in tightly. The charm is actually a mini working Panflute that allows the wearer limited pan teleportation abilities by use of the activation command “Pan Warp!” Spencer and Serena’s were different in dimensional tuning so as to pierce the barrier between Earth and Petra’s Neverland and later modified by Petra so that no matter how deep they got in the multiverse on their quest, Rini and Spence could feel the other’s heartbeat and their emotions.
  • Welker, Frank: one of the greatest voice actors ever (dubbed the Voice God), he and Mel Blanc, Casey Kasem, and Don Messick were inspirations to me, which is why they are referenced in my comic as geographical locations (i.e. WelkerBlanc Cemetery, Messick Ridge, and Kasem Bluff, which are all in close proximity to the others)
  • Williams, Allison: Most recent actress to play a live Peter Pan. Daughter of NBC news broadcaster Brian Williams (11th Hour), portrayed her character alongside Christopher Walken (he’s not getting a slot on this list, I”m sorry).
  • The Wormhole: A dimensional gate akin to the spatial phenomena it shares its name with. This wormhole was created accidentally by Royal Fay Magic when two unnamed pirates tried to coerce Chief Dajanoten Sol and his brother Prince Silvadarten Sol to help them escape Neverland via their imprisonment by Solin Fyre’s curse.
  • Zetascape: Known as the home dimension of all magical beings or the Zeta realm: it is the home of Oberon, the rule of the fay, and his wife Titania, a druid. Once the home of all slvskorn fay as well, Mordred’s abduction of his daughter led to their colonization in other dimensions, most notably the Neverscape. To prevent monsters like Mordred from invading their dimension again, a magical barrier was created to cut off the Zetascape from infinity itself. Only by a fay sacrificing their life can the door be opened. Although there have been individuals who have found ways to breach this barrier with no cost of life.
