Appearence:

Laura Spinner in her human form as a slender, beautiful African American young woman with long hair and average height. In her Druid form, her ears regain their natural pointedness, and her eyes become Druidish jet-black with white irises. Her ZSF attire consists of golden armor and head crest, housing an archer’s quiver and a swordsman’s scabbard.

History:

Prior to the 1980s, Zylina Xern had made connections through law-enforcement all along the Four Points, which she further branched out on earth. Her assignment was to keep tabs on a baby-trafficking ring that had ties to Mordred La Fey in the Rogue Neverland. Assigned this task by Queen Aurora herself, her investigation would lead her to one of the victims, a young man named Tobias Spinner (birthname Cameron Masterson) who was swapped with an identical doppelclone with no heartbeat and sold on the black market. While the reasons are unknown as to why he was abducted and sold, Zylina fell in love with the young man when he showed a mutual attraction to her in Basic Training.

Nearly a decade later, the married Spinners were settled in West Virginia with two bi-racial little girls, Felicia and Gwendolyn, when Tobias was called back to the Navy for War Games training on a flattop in the Atlantic. It was at around this time that Tobias’s birth mother Olivia was in a fatal car collision which led to her suffering a severe aneurysm. Thanks to Pan Magic by Nicole Jones, a grandchild of Queen Aurora, Olivia’s soul was plucked from her dying body and placed in safe haven on Polaris. Queen Aurora in turn called Zylina back into active duty, summoning Laura, her children, and Tobias to Polaris to reopen the investigation, and to finally give a mother and son back to the other.

Following a climatic battle with the Druid Rogue that was aiming to incite civil war between the fay and the Druids, the Zetascapian prince, Oberon Trion, was cleansed of this evil essence and taken into custody by the Lords. When Gwendy Sr. was about to be granted her wish to restore Olivia back to life, Laura, Tobias, and Gwendy were devastated that Michael (Tobias’s twin brother) was offering his life as a sacrifice to bring Olivia back, him literally being on a death device with a sedative coursing through his system. Thankfully, Rafael Heyward, Gwendy’s boyfriend and true love, overwrote Michael’s binding contract with the Lords with Rafe offering up instead his own future right to Pan Ascension in order to save both Michael and Olivia. To the great relief of all (especially Oberon and Titania, the Neverscape Lords), Olivia’s life was restored with the energy created by Rafe’s sacrifice.

Following the conclusion of the Zetascape adventure, Tobias and the girls moved to Remington to be with their new family, with Gwendy fawning over her little namesake and Felicia in a crush with Jones family adoptee Tico Gomez-Sol of the Nevertribe). This path did take a darker turn when Zylina’s people had forensically traced the Black Market Cartel’s movements to another supposed victim: a half-Japanese, half-Vietnamese girl named Sakuno Hu, the elder half-sister of Twi-Lan and Jim Marsden. At the present time, Zylina is in Russia, infiltrating the last known location the cartels had kept her.
