Personality:
When she is not answering to the name Sci-Fae, Sattie is a buttoned-up, shy, and introverted quiet girl who lives for fictional lands and times that can be found in books. Living a life in a real world of magic and fantasy was always an ironic viewpoint, something that their classmates found her weird for. The feel of the parchment in faux-leather backing, the smell of musty pages, and the quiet and echoey halls of the library are what makes the experience all the richer for her. Whenever she is cooped up in her faepartment with a fire in the mantle going, with a hot cocoa, or cataloging books in the hallowed halls of Palace Faye-Sol, these are her favorite environments.
When she is in cosplay, you will never find a more energetic, passionate, and learned fae; on equal footing with the most seasoned San Diego ComicCon and BotCon cosplayers and conventioneers on Earth. Transformers, Dr. Who, Batman, Spider-Man, Peter Pan, Japanese Anime, Sci-Fae is able to absorb the core of each medium that she is exposed to, at an extremely-accelerated rate of 3,000,200: 1, in comparison to a human or normal fae. Princess Maddie had kept tabs on Sattie’s extracurricular interests. She knew that there were others in Saturnring’s age bracket who would share her interests. Her time as a human, and knowing her children and grandchildren’s love of the same media, encouraged Saturnring to reach out to others who shared her interests.
With the help of Lemon Spritz and Echochime, Sci-Fae organized a convention that celebrated earth television shows and comic books, one that long-surpassed their expectations. The first convention they organized was in too small of a venue to accommodate the various Neverscapians and pixies (and a few members of the Brotherhood of Pan). The thrill of her pet project being a source of wonder and happiness for so many, it filled Sattie with a newfound sense of purpose and excitement. She wanted to keep the tradition alive, but kept her part of the planning, secret; Queen Aurora gave Sattie a permanent spot as coordinator for these — and other palace events, while keeping her involvement anonymous, but credited.
The true source of Saturnring’s shyness and longing for isolation, came from the loss of her friend Phoenixia — more specifically, the good side of her. When they were in magic school, Nixie and Sattie had a small circle of friends, all of whom saw the former in the throes of a terrible affliction: Detachment. Nixie’s body went into spasms, her deeliebobs shriveled and fell out, and her wings deformed into an irregular shape. It would be a long time before she came into contact with Phoenixia again, this time being pushed away in a snide and horrible manner. When the love of Sattie’s life, Percusshawn was snatched away by Phoenixia, Sattie retreated into books and leaned on Lemon Spritz for comfort. In the present day, Phoenixia’s rebirth as Sunrise also brought her back into Saturnring’s loving graces again, giving a part of her wings to make a patchwork set for Sunrise in order to keep her alive, even though she thought it was so minuscule that Sunrise would not have noticed. Sunrise could feel the soulprints of all the donors who gave their wing tissues to her, but only three resonated just a little more than the others: Callie, Kindradell, and Sattie.

True Love

When they were in Magic School, Saturnring and Phoenixia were both friends with each other and two males named Lemon Spritz and Percusshawn, one who was older than the duo and one who was younger. After Pheonixia suffered from the symptoms of Detachment, which rotted and shriveled her deeliebobs and cost her the ability to psicon, Nixia lost her grip on the world and became cold and ruthless, believing that apart from her cousin Percusshawn, those who were her friends betrayed her by enjoying seeing her suffer. Out of revenge, she stole Shawn from Sattie and finagled him into being her combinoft. Because they felt alone, Sattie and Lemon had a friendly dating relationship for a long time, but each pined for the Singleton cousins. Lemon became a reporter for the Myriad Times, and Sattie retreated to the safety of the role of Neverscape Palace Librarian. When Phoenixia discovered that her slvsinoft was alive and that she did not Neskomf her like she thought, she underwent a change to become a cheerier and brighter fae, and before changing her name to Sunrise, Phoenixia pleaded with Shawn to find happiness with Sattie again. After Shawn learned that his beloved Saturnring was secretly Sci-Fae, he became a cosplayer for the conventions as Luchadore Leroy, a Mexican Wrestler with bat wings.
