Who is Sylvia Silkworm?
Born half-silkworm and half-inchworm, Sylvia Silkworm is one half of the greatest sewing and crafting duo in the Great Myriad. A gifted artisan with extraordinary empathic sensitivity, Sylvia is beloved throughout the island for her kindness, patience, and quiet understanding of others.
Though she is remarkably shy and often prefers to remain unnoticed, Sylvia’s creations and compassion speak volumes about who she is. Living in a futuristic-retro co-op among the northern canyons, she continues to share her talents alongside her sister Cylindra while inspiring those fortunate enough to know her.
Among the most important relationships in Sylvia’s life was her first romance with Celia the Neverspider. Together, the two young artists studied under the renowned Della-Kate Mousette and helped shape one another’s understanding of creativity, friendship, and love.

Sylvia’s gift of crafting forged many friendships. Celia and Sylvia realized that their friendship was too important to risk continuing their romantic relationship, but Celia always rooted for Sylvia’s successes and their friendship is now stronger than ever. Celia’s family, the Hoppers, and their friends the Mousettes are Sylvia’s strongest friends and supporters, and the Neverhive as a collective has sweet feelings for her.
