Ever the Jones family loyalist, Xammy is the very model of a hero: virtuous, level-headed (at times), and self-sacrificing. Her love for family is so deep that she would break every rule of etiquette to defend their honor, even at the cost of hers. Xammy may have made a hypocrite out of herself on many occasions, but it is nothing she had not been forgiven for or made up for after the fact.

This instinct comes from all the years of seeing what outsiders have done to try to harm her slvinsoft, Esther Jones, who spent her childhood in the closet about her sexual preferences. This irked Xammy because Esther’s soul was always pure and loving, and such concepts like homosexuality and bisexuality were never thought of in fae circles. Xammy would often play hooky from her magical studies at the Neverscape Palace that were taught by her grandmother, Queen Aurora. From her perch, Xammy saw every slur, prank, injustice, and deed of hatred ever committed against Esther, which enraged her to the point where her powers had to be limited by Aurora herself.

Seeing this as a learning opportunity, her elder siblings Fireshy and Starblaze (Slvskorn agents of the Zetascape Special Forces) had their mentor Blazing Battles take her under his wing. Xammy learned secret fighting techniques that most pixian fae are never taught unless they are conscripted for active duty in other dimensions. Her black belt ceremony was cut short when she felt a tug in the dimensional barriers. Esther had been given her Ascension as the first ever Knight of Pan in Xammy’s absence, believing that the horrors Esther had faced would be enough to build herself up. Esther had gone on her first flight out in the night sky above Remington Springs, thinking that nothing would happen.

It was never determined what brought it about, but Esther had been hit with a toxic-level Neskomf poisoning from a suspected group of hoods in the area she was flying over. Xammy fled the Neverscape with one word, and ported into the same sky that her mother was about to fall to earth from. Xammy returned her to her parents Samuel and Maddie. Sam had never seen Xammy before, but Maddie knew everything. Realizing that only the Nevertribe of Neverland Prime could heal her, Xammy accompanied her grandfather and mother via the wormhole to the Nevertribe’s village with Esther on the brink of death.

It took a Nevermonth to completely expel the poison and build up the magical gear cells her body was supposed to have metamorphosed into before her first flight. Xammy spent that time nursing Esther’s inner wounds by visiting her in her dreamscape. The two got to know each other during this time, even though a lot of the questions Esther asked were embargoed from being answered. Again, Xammy felt that her mother deserved to know about everything about their ancestry and the Neverscape — even Neverland being real. As much as she wanted to reveal all this to Esther, both her siblings and their mentor had taught her that the secrets of others are not hers to give; which Xammy agreed with. She dodged a few of Esther’s questions, but Esther was so enamored by her pixian daughter that she didn’t notice.

Flash forward to the birth of baby Nicole, Xammy was present during the birth, even knowing that any link she had to the infant was biological; that Nicole was always Rebecca and Robert’s daughter. Xammy glommed onto this child from a distance, just like she did her other cousins. Xammy’s call of duty was around this time, and she found herself in many of the other dimensions along the Great Myriad. When Esther and Jillian were driven to move out of Remington was when Xammy got back in contact with her mothers. By then, Esther had changed her hairstyle so that it mimicked that of a student she cared for — whom she felt she betrayed, Sophie Schucart. Xammy realized how much she had missed — the death of her Aunt Becca and Uncle Randy, the hospitalization of coma victims Ariella and Bella in the Neverscape, and the broken hearts it all left behind.

Not one to back down from her duty, Xammy made Esther a promise that she would look out for and be the spirit guide of Sophie from the shadows; knowing that eventually everything would fall into place. It was just a question of when.

Following the liberation of Petra’s Neverzone and Mina Elechad being ascended as a Pan Knight of a special class; Xammy learned everything that happened to Nicole and Serena: How Rini was used as bait in the dark underground caverns of the Catacombs to lure Nicole and capture her, then leaving Rini behind in the cold with a ransom note written in Nordic runes. Anything else connected to this was immaterial to Xamantha Rose. She held Mina personally responsible for Rini’s hypothermia and any possible ramifications to Nicole and the others. This grudge stemmed even deeper when it was revealed that it was only because of Xammy operating from inside the wormhole of the Great Myriad that their psicon search for Nicole made it as far as it did. In doing this though, it attracted the attention of her Xammy’s handlers who had recently re-conscripted her to active duty, leading to real world consequences.

Branding her as a traitor, this rogue ops group who led her to believe they were official ZSF slated her for execution, sending a swarm of dark creatures, known as Dream Ticks, after her. The targets that the swarm managed to bite into were Xammy’s human sister and adoptive brother — Nicole and Spencer. Nicole had only been unconscious for half an hour at the most, but the damage was done. Nicole was forced to live a 7-year-long nightmare that started the very night she came out to her sisters. Ariella managed to free Nicole from this horrible mental prison, but Spencer was also bitten. With a battle plan in mind now, Ariella got everything prepared, but Xammy — in the heat of passion upon seeing Mina in the hallways of the Neverscape palace — picked a fight with Mina, declaring that she would make her pay dearly for what she brought upon the Jones Clan.

From an outsider’s view, this fight would be Xamantha Rose at her very hottest temperature, and she was. But it was not Mina whom she was truly angry. Xammy had provoked Mina only partially for her grudge; the rest was Xammy feeling she brought a curse of bad fortune with her and that her family was forced to pay the price. Unfortunately for Xammy, Mina caught on rather quickly, so did Nicole, who saw the majority of the battle. Nicole declared how proud she was to be Xammy’s sister/cousin; and that the latter had never failed anyone she loved. With renewed purpose, Xammy and AJ traveled into Spencer’s mind — only to find three stowaways awaiting them: Nillavan, Misty, and Kiki.

Relationships:

Esther and Jillian: Esther may be the only one Xammy shares blood with, but Esther and Jillian are the two people in the multiverse taht she loves the most. Jillian got a glimpse of Xammy early on in her relationship with Esther, when she was first introduced to 8-year-old Bella and toddler Ariella while Esther baby-sat for them. At first, Jillian didn’t know what to think when she saw a magical fairy version of the girl she was crushing on; but Xammy’s tender heart, nimble flying, and beautiful blue eyes won her accolades that first night. Esther is never too busy or too caught up in battle to spend time with her slv daughter — and if she is, she discards everything else and takes the consequence; a trait they share in common.

Serena: Due to Esther adopting her brother’s children, this netted Xammy a sister whom she had already adored as a cousin. Prior to making her acquaintance, Xammy spent many a night sleeping in the dark corner of Rini’s room in spider form. This ordinarily would have been enough to shield her, but she had reckoned without Serena’s augmented spiritual-gathering vision. Like a lens that gathers light, Rini has a Pre-Pan power that explains how she can see past her bangs. When Xammy finally decided it was time to introduce herself, it was Xammy who was in for a surprise. Rini had not only anticipated Xammy, but had prepared a special night for the two of them: Pan Binge watching, Xammy’s favorite treats, and a matching set of monogrammed sister sweat-suits.

Nicole: Like her sisters, Nicole doesn’t see the barrier between the titles “sibling” and “cousin”, but knowing she felt this way made it easier for Xammy to introduce herself to the sister she had knwon about but had to keep quiet about. Xammy’s Soph-cut amplifies Nicole’s love for her due to how much of Sophie this brings out in her. Nicole had only seen one sibling-pairing like theirs once before, with Nillavan and Lexi; so it really got her juices revved up when it came out that Xammy and Nic were sisters. It was this connection that gave Xammy the gumption to provoke Mina into fighting her on sacred ground in the first place.

Ariella and Bella: Xammy also does not see the boundary between sibling and cousin, which is apparent in how much love she receives from AJ and Bella. Xammy is a trusted ally and partner of the Trinity in the field and beyond. Xammy often volunteers for recon when the two are in need of it. Their devotion to Xammy and the other slvskorn kin they have drives them to go well beyond the call of duty to protect them from all threats; especially Neskomf poison.

Spencer Jones and Hi-Top Jones: One white, one black; all brothers from separate mothers; Xammy and the two cousins are peas in a pod. While Xammy is a girly-girl outside of work, she has as much of a tomboy streak as her sister and cousin. While this is a relatively new tradition that they share, whenever Spencer brings Trixie to Earth for the night; Esther volunteers to sit for her “grandbaby” and lets Hi-Top and Xammy have their guys’ night out. Ironically, Xammy has more of a manly streak about her than either her adoptive brother or cousin. Hi-Top is still relatively unused to being related to actual magical royalty, even after bieng adopted as a grandson by Maddie and her mother Aurora. Xammy looks to Harold as little brother as much as Spencer. Of course, them being best friends with Jesse and his sister Sophie — her former protectee — this opens an uncharted avenue of bond that has yet to be explored.

Fireshy: For a long time, Shy was Xammy’s only sister, but is still her oldest one. Like her mother before her, Xammy loves her big sister to pieces, but is the more bubbly and outspoken of the two. Like the name suggests, Fireshy is a fierce warrior with pyrokinetic pixian powers, but she is easily intimidated; even amongst her family. The only two that she can truly be herself around are Xammy and their brother.

Starblaze: A soldier through and through, Starblaze was a perfect choice for the secret academy of ZSF recruits. The many years he spent being away in training would eventually lead him and Fireshy to immediate fieldwork for long periods at a time. This did make his connection with Xammy strained at times, though not long enough to do any real damage. Star is rigid and by-the-book, the exact opposite of Xamantha Rose. Knowing how headstrong she is, Star knows that Xammy has the greatest resiliency of any of them. His gruff exterior can hide much, but Xammy can see past it for the true softy her big brother is.

Delania: Unaware of the secret link they share that is closer than cousins, Xammy still treats the castle cook like royalty for the nobility that she truly engenders in her heart. Like Fireshy, Delania is very soft spoken, and like Xammy, has feelings for a Neverscapian mammal. Xammy has the same voracious appetite as the rest of the Jones clan, which to Delania is all the more reason to want to cook for her — to have a constant companion in her kitchen in whom she can confide in. Delania has had to deal with the same stigma that Esther had to — but for different reasons. Dryads are seen as an inferior caste of fae, and have always been discriminated against; homosexual Dryads have also been bigoted against and have had many horrible names given to them. Sadly, Delania has had to live in this type of toxic environment now and again, but Xammy and the other royal family members do not and will not tolerate such bigotry, so Xammy has secretly taken a vow to make life miserable for anyone who tries to hurt Delania

Mina Elechad: The only person out there who has as much a fiery temper as her — even more so than Nicole or Serena — Mina Elechad holds the distinction of being the only being to ever truly not be intimidated by Xamantha Rose Jones’s hatred and scorn and meet it head on. Though they share more in common than they first thought, Xammy outright made her anger towards Nicole and Rini’s abductor known. What Xammy didn’t see was that deep in her pisvaults, the girl now known as Petra Pan had taken the same opinion of herself as Xammy did of her. Mina couldn’t face her own reflection because of her past sins. When Becky Jones, Nicole’s adoptslv daughter, had a celebration thrown in her honor on Polaris, Mina had brought something with her that she wanted to give Serena. Not going into full detail, the fact that Xammy spoke out against it was indeed a 180 turnaround for the slvskorn fae.

Knuckles: A relatively new addition to her roster of loved ones, Kiki had come across a sick and injured rabbit in the Neverscape following the incident with the Dream Ticks. Kiki’s ferret sister Ferrina and their friend Roxy tried to communicate with the creature, but had discovered that it was mute; also all psicons were blocked, so its mind couldn’t be pierced, but Kiki was determined to help the injured bunny. Queen Aurora gave the critter santuary in the palace aviary. With the help of her cousin Delania, Xammy learned that the rabbit needed a guardian and took a liking to Xammy. Despite not having a knack with animals, Xammy adapted to having a companion. Knuckles got its name from how it dug into the ground for carrots, at the ire of Delania. Knuckles understands English and uses a system of taps to answer questions, but for now, all that Xammy can detect is its loyalty crush on her. It has refused to answer what its gender is until they get to know one another, not knowing whether or not Xammy can love it back.

Molly and Sunrise: Relatively new members of the Jones clan as far as knowledge of is concerned, Xammy has always sensed that Molly knew of her, and furthermore wanted to know her personally. It was only recently that Xammy revealed herself to her half-sister. This was a happy moment that was nearly soured when Molly’s slvskorte was none other than the hateful Phoenixia. When the latter was ready to sacrifice her own life to save Molly, her slvsinoft, Xammy saw the true nature of her niece’s heart. Both mother and slv have a strong blanket of love adorned on them from Xammy, proving that there’s always room for more in their family.
