History:
Born as one of 300 eggs laid by Neverscapian Spider Dextra from a whirlwind romance with a feral spider from Earth, C’Daka was the only one of the clutch that was fully Neverscapian: she understood and spoke both English and Earth Spiderese. She also possessed the same intelligence and empathy powers as her mother. Sadly, Dextra languished before C’Daka was born, but in her journal entries that she etched into the Schucarts’ vent panels, she gave a final declaration of love to all of her children and left a special message for C’Daka, telling her of the family she has in their home Neverzone, and that Celia will watch over her. UNfortunately, the etchings’ meanings were undiscernable to the young C’Daka, so she was left with a great mystery.
Her feral siblings all mindlessly dispursed from the Schucart’s attic and went out on their own, but C’Daka, unaware of her own name, stayed. She continued to grow and assimilate knowledge and emotions, wanting badly to stay connected to her mother, all the while staying in the shadows of the Schucarts’ ventilation system, sensing that the inhabitants of the house were afraid of spiders. Months would pass before C’Daka would get her first interaction with a human, Schucart distant cousin Gwendy Masterson, who was staying with her fellow Schucarts while her mother Olivia was on the road looking for employment.
Saga of the Shy Spider
The day that Gwendy moved into eldest cousin Sandy’s old room, Gwendy had an uneasy feeling that she was being watched; and indeed, she was. From a nearly-closed up grate in the wall, C’Daka saw the lovely vistage of Gwendy, thinking that she might have found a friend; but was too afraid to risk it. Luckily, she did not have to, as an outside source told Gwendy to leave a plate of sugar on the desk, knowing that the mystery being would not be able to resist. Like a charm, C’Daka was drawn to the sugar crystals; gingerly skittering out of the vent opening in the ceiling and belaying down via her silk. She saw the sugar, but it was now in the palm of Gwendy’s hand, causing C’Daka to hesitate. Gwendy insisted that everything was okay, that she could trust in her. The shy spider then slowly nibbled at the sugar, too afraid to speak, except via psicon.
Gwendy introduced herself to the young spider, to which C’Daka was confused as to why she was not afraid of her. For a few minutes, they both talked, Gwendy saying that her past experiences with “spiders” had made it easier for her to face arachnids. As C’Daka lapped up the rest of the sugar, she accidentally bit down on Gwendy’s hand, causing a typical reaction. Gwendy was in pain, but her heart broke at the sight of the penitent spider preparing to meet her fate: believing she was about to be squashed for her misdeed. Gwendy started to feel the effects of C’Daka’s venom, but still was not afraid of — or blamed — the spider. With Nicole Jones’s help, C’Daka’s venom was made into a counterserum in Nulltime, ready to be administered via a shot.
By the end of the night, her friendship with young Gwendolyn solidified to the point where the bespectacled teen gave the nameless spider the monnikor “Sugar”, which carried great meaning for the Schucart Girls. For nights, they would stay up late and talk via psicon, so as to keep C’Daka safe and out of reach of Robert and Shari when they would pass by Sandy’s room. After a while, Gwendy moved out of the Schucarts’ house and to a closer house in town. C’Daka feared she would never see Gwendy again, but was assured that this was not goodbye; and indeed it was not.
A few months later, on June the 11th, Ariella Jones’s 22nd birthday had arrived, and she had planned to celebrate it with her fiancée Jesse and their slv daughter Nillavan. Fate, however, had struck a cruel blow, in the form of a Rfaskanomf storm, which was dangerous to slvskorte fae who were not in their Neskomf Armor. Unable to control it, Nillavan’s armor appeared, and she had taken on the shape of a spider, which would cause Ariella to pass out in terror from. A bolt of Crimson lighting had struck the window of Jesse’s parent’s room, swapping her mind with Nillavan’s, and finding herself in the vents of the house whilst in Nillavan’s body and armor. Ariella was terrified of what had happened, but then she heard the scream of a young girl coming from the other side of the vent system. Unable to fight her maternal urges, Ariella raced to help this mysterious soul, instructing Jesse and Nillavan to find a countermeasure to the mindswap in the Nevertomes.
Adamantine Bond of Steel
When Ariella got to the source of the scream, it had been traced to a figure in the deep shadows; and when she used Nillavan’s magic to light the passage, the sight of C’Daka had released a primal scream, which caused the Neverspider’s auditory senses to overload in pain. Ariella realized that this spider could speak, and that she was in more pain than just the echo of her voice; a metal plate had fallen on C’Daka’s front leg, weighing too much to lift it up. With Ariella’s guidance, C’Daka was calmed down and her leg pulled out. The leg had to be set; so without even thinking, Ariella took of the dress Nillavan was wearing and wrapped it tightly around the leg. Upon learning that C’Daka could not only see her non-spider form, but that Nillavan was “commando” under that dress, AJ was shocked and embarrassed (despite C’Daka’s logic that she also was naked). Out of gratitude, C’Daka used her spider silk to knit an exact (white colored) copy of Nillavan’s dress and gave it to AJ to try on. It not only was super soft and comfortable, it fit Nillavan’s body like a glove.
C’Daka was all healed up, but now Ariella was lost in the layout of the vents. C’Daka insisted upon helping Ariella find her way to the basement, and instructed her to climb on her back. The splint was enough to stabilize C’Daka’s leg and support Nillavan’s weight. It was through C’Daka’s own empathy that she knew who Ariella was, and Ariella in turn gave C’Daka the name Jennifer, after a voice actor she and Jesse both loved from the 1990s Spider-Man animated series. Jennifer was honored and confused at the same time, since she knew that Ariella was terrified of her. All of that was set aside during their initial encounter, and Jennifer called Ariella by a nickname that she truly adored: “Ari”. Little by little, Ariella’s fondness for this young spider had been growing faster and faster, especially after Jennifer defended Ariella from the rogue spiders who occupied the same vents.
Down in the basement, Nillavan and Jesse sought a reversal spell in the Nevertomes. Jennifer and Ariella had made it down to the basement vent, but needed Nillavan to open it from the outside. It was through Ariella’s contrition that the spell was able to be reversed. The now-human-sized Ariella was ecstatic to introduce Nill and Jess to Jenni, but the latter collapsed on the pool table, growing terribly weak. Realizing it was the Rfaskanomf storm’s ions that were conducted by the metal in the vents, Ariella pleaded for Jenni to hold on; that they would get help. But it was too late; Jenni was at death’s door, until fellow Neverbeings Ferrina Ferrette and Terry Marsden found their way into the Schucarts’ basement; using their magics to help teleport Jennifer to Neverland Prime.
The rest of Team Panfan was Pansported to Silver Dart’s cabin in the Nevertribe’s village, along with one of Queen Aurora’s fayzicians, Dr. Mintleaf; who felt this creature was a waste of his time. With Nicole, Lexi, Sophie, and Nillavan by her side, Jennifer was put into Nulltime stasis, and her form changed into a humanoid fae’s. This was what finally got Mintleaf’s attention, but his hypocrisy was called out by Nillavan, Misty, and Queen Aurora herself. Mintleaf was on his final chance with the Queen, and he had blown it; so he was exiled from the Neverscape for an undetermined amount of time; with Silver Dart taking the reins on how to save Jennifer. There was a spell that would allow Jennifer’s soul to be put into an artificial form that Jesse provided; but the energy needed to initiate the process was deemed impossible: Rfaskanomf lighting. As far as Ariella was concerned, there was only one soul that mattered in that cabin, and she would get the help she needed, no matter the cost.
Using her Pan Chronos Magic, Ariella traveled back to earlier that night, right outside the Schucart house, where she was sure the lighting that swapped her consciousness with Nillavan’s was due to strike. The rains were pouring a deluge, but no lighting was visible. Since this was magical lightning she was dealing with, she resorted to desparate measures: screaming insults at the storm, itself. She hurled insults to the rain and ionic storm from the top of her lungs, calling its mother a sump and that it was a laundry-grade bolt of static (paraphrasing). Thinking of Jenni — the beautiful-voiced spider who addressed her as “Ari”, Ariella provoked it enough to strike through her soft tissues, only staying alive by her Pan Magics; unknowingly being the cause of the mind-swap that led her to Jenni in the first place. At the very last moment, she was able to Port back to Neverland Prime, and was attended to by her grandfather Dajanoten and Uncle Silver Dart while the spell to fuse Jenni with the Build-a-Bear cinnamon lop Rabbit that Jesse made was conducted by Nicole.
By the end of the night, Ariella had been drained and healed of the excess red lighting energy, and Jennifer woke up in her new body, given the new name Jennifer Jae Felicia Jonescart after her wish to be adopted by Ariella and Jesse as their adoptslv was made known — as a birthday wish of sorts. Jesse and Ariella did not hesitate for even a micro-second to honor her wish; Lexi and Nillavan gained a new sister, Jesse and Ariella had another daughter, and Ariella had conquered her fear of spiders, in no small part thanks to Jenni, herself. Meanwhile, in a Neverzone far away, a Neverspider by the name of Celia felt the premonition she had, come to pass. She would have the chance she had been praying for, soon; to meet her sister.
Appearence:
Jennifer is a cuddly, fuzzy, fleecy, stuffed lop bunny rabbit from Build-A-Bear Workshop. Her fur is a mixed brown light color with cream-colored ears and nose. Though the clothes she wears were inherited through her soul being Pansferred into the doll, Jennifer adores and always wears her denim overalls and flower barrette in her ear. Like Becky and Sunni, her mouth cannot move or open, but her deadpan face does nothing to hide her kind heart and loving soul, almost as if her face could move. In her spider form, Jennifer has six tiny yellow eyes and two prominent fly-eyes with transparent pink eyelids. Her fangs were golden and she possessed greenish-peach fuzzy legs. Jennifer may not look back on her past form with pride, but everyone who loves her believes that as C’Daka, she was just as beautiful a creature as she is now.

Personality Traits
Painfully shy and prone to sadness, the sentient Neverscapian spider whom Gwendy Schucart had given the nickname “Sugar,” spent her life in the air vents of the Schucart house, learning how to speak and other skills just from listening and observing from the vents. Most of her time was spent trying to use that knowledge to decipher the “journal” that her mother Dextra left behind.
Following the Combination ritual of Spencer and Mina, Jennifer discovered that she did have family left, one who had been wanting to find her for the longest time who even knew that she was no longer a spider. Celia the Spider embraced Jennifer right from the very start, and helped translate their mother’s notes; revealing that Jennifer’s birthname was C’Daka.
Relationships
Gwendy Schucart: After moving in with her distant cousins while her mother was on a business trip, Gwendy stumbled upon a voice coming from Sandy’s old room. With Nicole instructing her, Gwendy laid out some sugar to lure the voice out. C’Daka landed and began to eat, but was consigned to her fate of being squished by the human; but, instead, Gwendy knelt down and asked the spider for her friendship. Thoughout her stay at Jesse and Sophie’s, Gwendy stayed up nights talking with Sugar, as she called her. After Ariella’s 22nd birthday, Gwendy was reunited with her friend, in a newer and easier to hug body. As far as the two of them were concerned, nothing had changed.
Ariella Jones: From the very beginning, spiders were Ariella’s mental kryptonite; they were the one thing that she feared more than anything, and would practically jump out of her skin at even the smallest, non-threatening spiders. This would prove to be problematic when she met Nillavan for the first time, at age 13, due to slvskorn Neskomf armor. The night she turned 22, a Rfaskanomf storm psionically switched Nillavan with Ariella, who was now trapped in the Schucarts’ vent system. AJ heard a scream for help, and her motherly instincts overrode her fears. C’Daka was that voice. During the storm, her leg had gotten trapped under some heavy panels and she couldn’t move. Upon first glimpse, AJ screamed, but then comforted the young girl spider and helped pull out her leg. Without anything to set it with, AJ pulled off Nillavan’s dress and used it to stabilize C’Daka’s leg, revealing herself as totally nude. C’Daka created a duplicate of the dress with her own blue moon silk that she had been saving, and in a flash, it was complete, and on AJ’s borrowed form. This act of generosity prompted AJ to give the nameless spider the monniker Jennifer, for her true beauty.
Ariella’s bond with Jennifer is like the ones she has with Nillavan, Natasha, Lexi, and her sisters and cousins, but deeper. Jennifer helped Ariella face her greatest fears and still cared about her even when AJ was kicking herself in the ass for being specist (an overreaction from everyone else’s point of view). Their bond started off with Jennifer referring to Ariella by a name that she treasured: Ari, the name Sophie gave to AJ. Ariella’s love for Jenni was the impetus for the riskiest and reckless feats the Trinity’s leader ever did: she traveled back a few hours int othe past, held out her Panflute, and collected Red-band lightning by screaming and insulting the very storm itself. Jennifer was on the cusp of death, and Ariella was not having it; and it was the energy she collected that allowed Jennifer’s spirit to be Pansferred into the rabbit doll. Above all others, Ariella has proven how much Jennifer/C’Daka’s love is worth: A step beyond priceless,
Lexi: Because of the nature of the Pansferrence spell, Ariella’s biosig created artificial DNA that matched hers in Jennifer, literally making her AJ and Jesse’s daughter. As far as Lexi is concerned, any sister is a treasure, and was stuck to Jenni like white on rice. Calling her “Bunny-sis,” Lexi takes great comfort in having another big sister to hug when Nillavan isn’t with them. Lexi is a visitor from 400 years in the future, and misses the family she left behind, especially her brother Caleb and sister Shana. Jennifer possesses empathic powers — the kind she had when she was C’Daka, and even though Lexi’s Time-prayer amulet makes her mostly undetectable to non-Trinidads, Jennifer knows her new sister better than anyone, and always loves to be squeezed by her Kittentop.
Becky, Sunni, and Ferri: Like the three of them, Jenni is an adoptslv, and entered the family the roundabout way, but Jenni feels a kindred connection to her elder cousins, despite being tall enough to be their bed. Becky and Sunni are the ones who are best adept at understanding how it feels to be an artificial lifeform endowed by Neverscapian magic, and they are able to tell that Jennifer will never fully get used to her plush body. The movie nights that they four have with their slv couslings when their human family is away is their favorite pastime, and have even wrangled Grampa Robbie Jones into joining them.
Robert Jones: Short and sweet; Robert is the one living human on the globe that understands and believes in magic better than anyone; having fathered three beautiful Pan Knights. Because she sleeps a lot on weekdays, Jennifer is usually up when Robert has cases to work on. Even after 30 years on the force, Rob still cannot swallow the burden of the most gory and inhuman murders and crimes. Jennifer always makes it a point to console her grampa by not leaving his side as long as she keeps her lop ears over her eyes.
Celia the Neverspider: Long before C’Daka met Ariella Jones in that vent system, Celia was able to detect her soulprint among the last clutch of eggs that Dextra gave birth to with an Earthean spider. C’Daka was the only one with empathic powers for Celia to trace, but was blocked from honing in on her location. After her rebirth as Jennifer, Celia’s senses were better able to detect her, and began to do craft projects in honor of her sister; but kept it a secret from their grasshopper cousins to keep them from getting their hopes up, needlessly. Once they met, Jennifer was entranced by Celia, and like with Lexi, they bonded instantly. According to the Nevertribe of Petra’s Neverzone, the weak heart that Celia was born with seemed to be strengthened, literally, by Jennifer’s love magic; one single hug made her stronger, but no one felt this needed to be explained. Celia and Jennifer became inseparable when Petalia was revealed to be Solin’s daughter, making her their sister, as well.
Cello and Laddie: Naturally, when Celia introduced Jennifer as her half-sister, this took Cello by surprise, but being the adoptive mother of a Neverscapian flower, Cello’s suspension of disbelief was just as strong as anyone’s. There was very little that Jennifer could do to keep Cello’s affections at bay, not that she wanted her to. Jennifer had quite an ear for Cello’s music, and a soft eye for Cello’s grace and beauty. Laddie’s continental charms were endearing due to his brogue being similar to the Elechads’. What intrigued Jennifer the most about Laddie was that he apparently knew Mina’s grandfather Edlund prior to the Overlord’s takeover of the Dark Neverzone. No matter the species or the distance, family ties are strong.
Arthur, Tina, Strat, Zimri, and Tetra: Jennifer has taken a shine to her infant cousin Zimri and to Arthur and Tina. Tetra and Strat prefer to gaze from afar, knowing full well that they would not be able to control themselves if allowed a hug with the lop rabbit they fell in love with.
Petalia and Gloria: Now that Jennifer’s magical DNA is a reflection of Ariella’s, that makes her and Petalia sisters by pixian plasma; and just like with real rabbits, Petalia’s heart melted, and Gloria was every bit as excited. Jennifer was the one who helped Petalia come to terms from the confusion of being the offspring of Solin Fyre, a pixian fae who in the Petaliaverse was Fyrefox.
