Life in the Neverscape
Like other fauna of the Neverscape, Ferri grew up in a loving and predator-free environment. For the last 16 Neveryears, Ferri was under the watchful care of orchardist Kiki Jones. Kiki always cared for her animal friends, but she always had a soft spot for Ferri and another friend of theirs named Roxy Boiatomm. Ferri was born to a pair of different species parents, passing on more of her mother’s characteristics than her father’s. Ferri’s sister Stardancer was very close with her and their half-siblings, but has not been seen for many Nevercycles. Ferri was very well-acquainted with the Neverscape Lords, and has always been a confidante to the shy castle cook, a Dryad named Lady Delania. For a time, Ferrina is mistrusting of the greater population of the Pixian Fae in the Neverscape, due mainly to the past machinations of a now-reformed Sunrise Jensen Jones (AKA Phoenixia Singleton).
True Heritage Revealed

As if May 7th 20XX+1, a mystery pertaining to Ferri’s family has arisen. Ferrina grew up in the Neverscape for most of her life, believing that a squirrel named Jason “Stone” Marmot (The “T” is silent) was her father, and that Festival Ferrette was her mother. However, with the revelation of the existence of a bee Count named Baxter coming into light, Queen Aurora has learned that Ferrina and her twin sister were adopted illegally after doppelclones were swapped with them so that their true mother, Della Kate, would believe that . Festival was actually the sister of Ferrina and Stardancer’s real father, Foster Ferrette, and that they were actually part mouse (and 1/4th raccoon). For a long time, this information was cloaked from even Misty’s time-mapping spell, and it portends considerable danger if Ferrina was to know the truth about how their abduction had transpired. Apart from Misty, Starblaze, Fireshy, and Agent Zylina Xern; the only Neverbeings who have this knowledge are her elder sister, Demuria, and their stepmother, Gina the Gerbil. It is believed that Ferrina is a victim of the same organization that arranged for the kidnapping and faked-death of Zylina’s human husband, Sgt. Tobias Spinner; which was their M.O. With the help of Misty’s Time-mapping spell, Ferrina’s true parentage had confirmed what Demuria knew, and a reunion was in order. So, with a mysterious invitation sent out to the slv and adoptslv children of Nicole and Twi, and Ferrina was given the surprise of a lifetime when she saw that the ebon Mousette had a picture of her twin sister, Stardancer on her wall.

Meeting her siblings
Following the events of Darkfyre Souls, Demuria, Ross, and Dainty were waiting in Demuria’s burrow when the five Neverbeings arrived. Ferri was not told what this visit was about, but somehow the others knew, even Terry. The look Demuria’s eyes as she welcomed her little sister into her home, followed by even littler sister Dainty pouncing onto the fair ferret, Ferri was reduced to a happy cry, and that was even before their connection was revealed. Ferri looked up at the picture above the couch, and she saw her twin sister’s visage, painted by family friend Celia the Neverspider for this occasion. Ferrina’s questions had escaped her mind in that instant; she did not know how it was possible that she was full-blooded to a lovely ebon mouse like Demuria, or that Dainty was only their maternal half-sister; she was speechless, but she was welcomed into her little-big sister’s home as if she had known her for Neverdecades. The one thing that none of them knew was that two of the figures in those portraits on the wall were watching their shared loved ones from a special place: Polaris.

A Missing Trinidad, Ferrina’s draft
On Halloween night, after Nicole Jones was abducted from the catacombs beneath Remington Springs, a visitor from Earth came to the Neverscape in search of Lady Aurora; The visitor was Isabella Jones, Nicole’s elder sister — both great-granddaughters of Aurora herself. Ferri was the one who welcomed the young adult to the paradise realm. Bella had questions and Ferri was more than willing to give them to her. Bella was able to detect Ferri’s deepest desire, to find a romantic male partner in a bear like Becky, and promised Ferri she would make it happen. Ferri brought Bella to see Kiki, her niece. After meeting Aurora and Tiger Lily and learning that Aurora’s daughter Maddie was alive, they agreed to do whatever they could to find where Nicole was taken. Aurora and Esther opened a portal back to Earth, and the investigation and rescue mission of Nicole had begun.
A Close Encounter of the Sly kind:
Bella, Ferri, Becky, and Kiki were given the task of seeking intel about the Dark Neverzone from the native Nevertribe, so they made a beeline for the Neverwoods. Living up to its true name, the Dark Neverzone was perpetually cloudy by day, and even darker at night, so Bella and the slvs had to rely on Ferrina’s senses in order to keep their stealth, for what little good it did them, as they were ambushed by a spearing warrior with a very short temper. This worked out in their favor, since the very person that they were seeking out was Chief Dajanoten, himself. Ferrina and the slv sisters were the proof that Dajanoten, and his daughter Tiger Lily (Liger), that Bella’s claims about being Pan Knights were sincere. To the group’s dismay, it was discovered that this Neverzone’s Peter and Solin were both murdered by the Overlord, centuries ago (Earth Time), and that resulted in the Pirate Uprising and the ascent of Huek’s rise to absolute power. The only clues that Dajanoten could give the girls was that a young Lost Boy, the last of his friends, would possibly know how to find the wayward Mina Elechad.

After regrouping with Ariella and the others at Neverpier, Ferrina’s keen senses were put to work into tracking down a possible lead on an informant, the Lost Boy Dajanoten had referred to. The first encounter they had in the alleyways behind O’Flannigan’s Tavern had less-than-favorable results, but Ariella and Ferrina were able to track him to an old hovel amid the inner workings of the Neverpier, right at the boundary line to the Pirate Capital, the Core. Ariella’s hunch was right, the Lost Boy was the one she sensed the name of, Slightly M. Zoiyel (Sly). Sly had escaped Huek’s warship, the Odin’s Eye, by starving himself and escaping amid the confusion when he was taken to be examined. Ariella and the others had hoped that Sly would be privy to the structure of either the ship itself or the high-ranked lieutenants that served under the Overlord so that they could find Nicole. This information would not be easy to acquire, as Sly was not only terrified, he was unstable at first. Ferrina’s warmth and kindness worked in tandem with Team Panfan’s founding members so as to reignite his faith in love and humanity.
