Etymology
Demuria’s name comes from the root word “demure”, meaning modest and shy, similar to her mother’s name Della Kate being a pun on the word delicate, and the very direct usage of Dainty’s name, meaning delicately small and pretty. Her namesake is her daughter, Dax, a portmanteau of both her name and Baxter’s: Daxtmuria, who looks the most like her, yet is fully bee.

Appearance:
Demuria is a slender and curvy Neverscapian mouse-ferret hybrid, according to her parentage. Her fur is a very soft and luxurious black with grey eyes and greenish-orange ears. Her usual clothing consists of just a blue bandana with a Japanese kanji for dark, symbolizing her ebony coloring. When dressed as a shinobi warrior, she wears spiked-knuckle gloves, boots, a headband with Japanese kanji for “demure”, utility belt, her combinoft ring, and her swordbelt. Her facial structure is remarkably similar to her little half-sister Dainty, despite her long-lost ferret sisters, Ferrina and Stardancer, being a full-blooded sibling. Despite having the genes of her ferret father, her dominant traits are from her mother, Della Kate.

Personality Traits

Demuria is an apt name for her on most occasions, but she also is as sharp as cheddar cheese when it comes to the safety and welfare of her fellow Neverbeings. Demuria’s love of flowers, both sentient and non-, was what cultivated her great respect and adoration for nature, which was what convinced Lady Sal to have Demuria as her vice-gardener and guardian. Demuria loves children, and wants more than anything to make the Great Myriad a safer and happier place to live. Ultimately, that was the ideology that led to her falling in love with Neverhive Count Baxter Bee, and the founding of their two-being crusade. Her immense loyalty to her sister, Dainty, had challenged her own views on what animals are predators and who aren’t, with Ross the Rattler having met with sheer ire from Demuria up until she was able to ascertain his sincerity. Demuria has lost many loved ones in her life, but she will always honor them by doing the right thing for the greater good.
Familial Connections and Relationships

By virtue of her Combination to a Count of the Neverhive, Demuria is considered far more than just an honorary member of Queen Beeatrix’s family by being the daughter v’combin of her sister Belinda. The Queen and the Earl look upon both her and her lot, as true family. Her union with Baxter yielded her a omniversally unique set of children who possessed perfectly-compatible genetics due to the chimera gene that both Baxter and Demuria each carried. Her father, Foster, is and was a Neverscapian ferret, bestowing upon Demuria two beautiful ferret sisters, who were illegally adopted by their aunt and uncle, Festival Ferrette and Stone Marmot (T is silent). It would be a long time before Baxter’s half-sister Winona would learn that she and Demuria were family, and that her eight children with Baxter were a blessing from that union. After her mother, Della, died, Demuria gained a step-mother in the form of a dear friend Gina the Gerbil.
Out of all of the different species that Demuria has a familial bond with, there is not one, not even her brother v’combin — a devenomed rattlesnake — would ever think anything of Demuria other than her being one of the most caring and loving girls in the entire Great Myriad. It was for the sake of her departed Combinoft that her connection to the Neverhive Royals be kept a secret from the Hive’s citizenry. And it was for her children’s safety and well-being that they were entrusted in the care of Neverscapian Royal, Princess Argentia Lustre of Maddie. Her clutch of mostly girls was taken in and loved by Argent, never telling them the true story of their parentage until they were deemed ready. Thanks to her guidance, and training by Oberon Prime’s best fighters and tacticians, the 7 sisters and 1 brother decided to covertly take up the mantle of Zetascapian Warriors of Virtue, calling themselves the Chimicera; a portmanteau of chimera and mice. Demuria awaits the day when she can finally embrace her beloved children and be the mother she always wanted to be for them; a wish that they also long to be granted.

The Truth comes out:
The week that Echochime Jones and her human parents came to their Neverzone to become combinofts, intelligence reports surfaced that the Quilliosa Nostra, a shadow-arm of the Quilliads, worked in tandem with the Cult of the Fire Serpents to kidnap and fake the deaths of infants who could become a threat or were prime targets for the black market. It was revealed that Della-Kate’s second born children, Fiona and Felicia Mousette-Ferrette were also victims, deaths faked and sold to Foster’s estranged sister Festival and her husband Stone. After thwarting the Quilliad Leaders’ final revenge gambit, Queen Aurora and Echochime reached out to Ferrina, who had a tearful reunion with family she never knew she had, taking a shine to each and every one of them, especially Whisper, the baby of the family. Ironically, it did not frighten Ferri in the least that her brother v’combin via Dainty was a snake; what threw her for a loop was that Demuria was her full sister, yet half-sister Dainty looked more like Demuria. It was only a matter of time until Stardancer and her combinoft Monica, the nannies of Princess Silverspice Sol in another Neverzone, would meet this wonderful family of theirs.
