EARLY LIFE IN THE NEVERSCAPE
Over 200 years ago, Earth time, the fay known as Cassia Cinnamelodia was born from the first laugh of a baby human known as Felipe, illegitmate son of Sonya Elechad, forcibly impregnated by her captor and master. For most of her life, Cassia, due to the Neskomf-laden atmosphere of the unaffiliated Neverzone — unreachable from the outside — had very little knowledge of her father, other than he was a kind man. Cassia venerated her phantom father, wanting more than anything to reunite with him and the sister she sensed he had.
Working in the spice fields in the far-west continent of the Neverscape, Cassia showed a penchent for all things cinnamon and sugar. She made a hobby out of experimenting with cinnamon arts and crafts and sweet pastries. One of the other girls in her faymunity was an admirer of her crafts, a transplant from the central continent, put in a recommendation to the Queen to transfer her back to the central lands. Queen Aurora sent her cousin Delania, a veteran chef, to evaulate Cassia’s works. Delania didn’t have to stay more than three minutes in the room to realize this pixian fay had a rare talent. Cassia was humble and coy, not thinking that her cinnamon candles and hamentashen were as highly praised as they were. Delania was a soft-spoken Dryad Fay, but even she grew excited at Cassia’s wares.
Delania’s entourage shuttled across the sea back to the palace with both Cassia and the girl who brought her to Aurora’s attention, Nufashatel Morgenstern, the slvskorte of the future-love of Aurora’s best friend, Solin Fyre Prime. The two slvskorn fae became inseparable gal pals. Fasha and her sister insisted that Cassia move in with them, wanting so much to give the gifted fae a home. The mutual topic they shared in common, among many others, was their love for their fathers, despite only Fasha being able to detect her father, Giles.
CALL IT LOVE
Over the next few months, Cassia and Fasha spent most of their time working with their fellow cooks and artists in the faymunity, one of whom was a pottery-crafter, Fasha’s anthropomorphic wolf big sister Veyahafta Morgenstern. In time, the three slvskorn fay decided to go in a different direction in their lives, not wanting the life of crowded faypartment buildings and marketplaces. Sadly, this desire would be given to them in a magnitude far greater than they could ever imagine. How this began was a pull from the future on Earth prime, aimed at both Veyahafta and Fasha Morgenstern.

Earth-time in 1837, Copenhagen Denmark; Fasha’s father died on Neverland prime from a broken heart. This shattered Fasha to her core, seeing as how it was her future-mother’s demise was what fueled it. Fasha felt the precognative impact of this and traced it back to Veya’s mother, Leah Morgenstern-Sapherseider. Unable to reach her father in time, Fasha and Veya were able to find Leah at the brink of her death in a burning synagogue. They found her biosig coming from the razed temple, but we’re too late to fayport her out — the smoke suppressed their powers. They couldn’t get in; Fasha and Veya were devastated they couldn’t do anything.
Using her powers, Cassia was able to pipeline a direct link to Leah, projecting the others’ minds into Leah’s. Fueled by Cassia’s love and support, Fasha and Veya were able to freeze time and speak with Leah, via psicon. Leah recognized the slvs from her dreams. Their instant connection fueled their powers exponentially.
Veya tried to port her mother out with Fasha’s help, but the smoke was still too much. Leah begged her daughter to save her siblings if they all couldn’t leave. Veya cried stalwartly and gave Leah a peck on the cheek, as their time-freeze began to decay. Veya and Fasha, with no time to spare, fay-teleported the children to a random location as far as they could reach; Rivka to Russia, and Leah’s son to Latvia. Sadly, no proof of the son’s survival exists to this day. Knowing her children were safe, Leah’s soul was pulled from her body before their strength faded; giving Fasha’s aunt a peaceful painless death.
Leah’s soul dissipated into the nothingness of the ethereal plane, but left Fasha and Veya heartbroken and deeply saddened to the point of dark depression. Knowing what it felt like to be cut off from a parent, Cassia spent weeks tending to their needs, not leaving the faypartment other than bartering for food and supplies. In that time, her thoughts dwelled on another; the slv of her aunt Mina, Lyra Pyxis Elechad, her sister.
Cassia had reached out to Lyra via letters, which were responded to by her within days of each other. Reading these letters and sharing stories about Lyra revealed a bubbly and love-enticing side to Cassia, which helped restore the shattered hearts of Veya and Fasha; her two best friends. Without intending to, Cassia’s crusade to help Fasha and Veya worked all too well. One night, the two friends felt something out of nowhere; an attraction between the two of them growing and Fasha fell deeply in love.
Because of Fasha’s connection to Aurora’s fallen friend, and the lengths they went with Leah’s salvation the two lovers were given a parcel of land near the Cascade River at the edge of the forest as a gift from the queen herself. Their relationship grew stronger by the day, by the time their house was built, Cassia and Fasha reached the Combinoft stage, the equivelant of human marriage.
AN OFFER SHE COULDN’T REFUSE (ENTER HOOK)
A few Nevercycles passed; and in the middle of the night, Cassia woke up to her father’s voice calling out to her. Not ever having heard his voice before, only one soul in the multiverse who was human would know her name. Just like that, a portal opened up in the middle of their faypartment, and Cassia, throwing all caution to the wind, eagerly zoomed through. Meanwhile, Veya could sense that something was not right; she and Fasha kept the portal open as a precaution: a verily justified one.
On the other side of the portal, Cassia’s desires turned to fear when she saw that the person who called for her was an older man using dark magic to mimic Felipe’s voice through the multiverse in search of her. That man was the Overlord of the Dark Neverzone; Captain James Huek, his first-born son Joso, and others who were also half-breed spawn of Huek. The moment Cassia got to the other side, she was captured and imprisoned in a cage.
Huek’s intentions were made clear, along with the fact that her father was one of his hundreds of illegitimate bastard children sold to slave dealers. The reason he sought her out was she was born to a slave whose belief in fay and magic was pure, having tracked Felipe’s movements his entire life, even when he was liberated by members of the rebel Romani clan.
Felipe’s faith sustained and created one of the most powerful slvskorn fay of all who would never have to fear Neskomf poisoning. Huek was counting on this, as an artifact came into his possession a long time prior to the invasion of Belfast in 1553, the sister-artifact of the coveted Angel’s Light (the essence of the parents of Oberon) known as the Heart of Pendragon (a blood-ruby in a star-metal casing that contained the essence of King Arthur). Cassia’s job was to generate a psi-barrier that would repel all intruders and keep the relic safe. Naturally, Cassia refused, vowing never to help an evil man like him, blood or not.
This warning came too late, as two of Huek’s other crewmen came in with Veya and Fasha at knifepoint, held by their wings. Huek saw this as the opportunity he was waiting for; the leverage to force Cassia’s hand. With only seconds to think about it, Cassia agreed to help her grandfather only if he gave his vow not to hurt Felipe or his mother; making it crystal clear that she would know if Huek was lying.
Seeing himself in a corner, Huek agreed by giving her grandmother, Sonya, protected status as first mate on his ship while she was his prisoner, and that when Felipe found his way to Mina’s crew, Joso would transfer to the Jolly Roger from the Odin’s Eye warship to protect Felipe from their half-brothers. This was chronicled in history as the one time EVER that Captain James Hook was ever true to his word, a thing that literally made him sick from bile overflow.
Taking the three fay through a wormhole, using his dark-magic powers, Huek took them to the most desolate, remote Neverzone that Mordred had no control over at the time: The Beta Neverzone; a post-volcanic island with few survivors and toxic pollutants below the perpetual clouds of ash. In the mountain ajacent to the Nevertribe’s terratory, Huek put Cassia in a glass capsule and forced her to drink rum, reassuring her that the spell he used would keep her in suspended animation and that she woudn’t suffocate. As he was about to close the capsule, Veya and Fasha escaped bondage and made a last ditch effort to rush the pirates and rescue their friend. Huek used the actual relic itself to launch darts of dark magic that barraged the two fay sisters, impaling Fasha in the shoulder. In her last moments of consciousness, Cassia cried soft tears for her beloved and her sister.
FREEDOM — NOT WITHOUT ITS PRICE
20XX+1, Earth time. During a 5-Nevercycle mission to destroy the remainder of Huek’s essence from the treasure caches he implanted throughout the Neverzones along the wormhole; Spencer Jones, a hybrid fay-human prince and his wife, Mina Elechad — Petra Pan — discovered two familiar energy signatures in this dark world. With very little time to investigate, the two Pan Knights found the cave where Cassia was being held, her name having been lost to time. Mina was unable to purify the bullion that Huek contaminated this land with, so she and Spencer fled with the little sleeping fay in tow. The other signature was one that belonged to Cassia’s sister, Lyra, the slvskorte of Mina herself. Lyra was dying from being held captive in the palace that Mordred had taken over using Siobhan as his mindless lead assassin. Echochime, who had traveled with her parents witnessed the last moments of Lyra as she begged Mina to convert her lifeforce into the substance that would give Mina a child. After the spell was cast, Lyra died and left behind only her wings, while her essence was infused into Echochime’s.
Months later in Aurora’s palace, Siobhan and Mina, with help from Queen Aurora, gently awoke the sleeping fay, having shrunk themselves down to her size so as not to scare her. Cassia woke up groggy, and to her dismay, remembered nothing. Her name was lost to her; her past was forgotten; and her knowledge of her slvsinoft was gone. Comfort came to her when Siobhan and Mina revealed themselves as her slv father’s sisters. Aurora had asked Delania to make some cinnamon buns, working on a hunch as to who this fay was. While she wasn’t sure, she at least knew in her own mind that the young fay would react positively to them. The now-amnesiac Cassia wolfed down the giant pastries in a flash, and a small spark glimmered in her mind when she heard the name of the confection, a trait shared by her sister, Cherry Tart. Wanting to reestablish control over her life, Cassia took the name Cinnaminabhan, both as a nod to her savior aunts and the confection Delania made.
Not long after this, Cinna — as she was now calling herself — met her father, Felipe for the first time. It was an extra tearful and sweet reunion as Felipe was in his hut with his true love, the kind and compassionate mermaid princess, Kindradell. Upon first glance, Cinna fell in love with her father and new mother, and Kindra did not hesitate for even a portion of a second to reciprocate Cinna’s affection as her new daughter (known as an adoptslv).
DIGGING DEEPER
Over the next few months, Cinna would struggle to assimilate into this family she was a part of, yet knew nothing about, while trying to rediscover who she truly was and why she was in that capsule. The memory of Huek and the booze was the only thing that she remembered, and that she was used as a “security system” of sorts. Felipe went so far as to travel with Spencer to the past, right before Huek’s execution at Mina’s ascension ceremony to grill Huke for answers. Mina disapproved of this and followed them into the past and supervised their efforts. The answer that Huek gave under the influence of truth serum revealed that he was the one responsbile, but that Cassia had conspired with Huek to stage the kidnapping and frame the Zetascapian prince and princess –Garok and Andelite– as traitors.
