Personality and Traits
While Magda was not BORN part-Fae like her cousins, she shares the same personality traits as them, and is now a Pan-Knight, with the same powers and bodily metamorphoses as them. She is very family-oriented and has always looked up to her big brother, Harold. She is more of a sister than a cousin to her classmates Nicole and Serena; the latter of whom shares her fashionista talents. Out of the three cousins, Magda is the oldest by a few months, so she takes on a pack-mother level of protector to her cousins, especially to Rini and her slv Callie. Growing up in Remington Springs, Magda shared in her cousins’ obsession with Peter Pan, but also latched on to other Broadway musicals. Considering her parents’ genepool, it is quite remarkable that Magda is as well-adjusted and bright-mannered as she is.
Unlike the other branch of her family in Remington, racial tensions have been a source of insecurity for Magda, as her half-brother is more African American than she is (their grandmother Stiletta is Black, and the Jones brothers and Anita were rumored to be albino Black; this has yet to be substantialized) and has witnessed the hardships that he has had to go through, like seven years prior, when he was assaulted and threatened by a cop in Rick and Rob’s precinct after Harold was falsely pulled over and arrested for suspicion of driving a stolen car. The fact that her dad’s father (a hated figure in their family) was a high-ranking Axis spy in WWII has been as much a source of shame as herm other’s father being a serial contract killer who murdered an unspecified number of G-Men in the Kansas City Massacre. Magda leans onto her cousins and friends even if she cannot put into words how she is feeling. There is not a Jones, Elechad, Schucart, Heyward, or Neverbeing that does not love Magda with all their heart.

Valkyrie Pan Knight M-Class
Magda, despite not being directly related to Queen Aurora, being the mother of her great-aunt, is well-loved by the Neverscapian Royals, not for her outer beauty, but for how she proved her inner beauty over and over throughout the years. It had been a long time in the making for Aurora to bestow Knighthood upon her, and she finally would get the chance. As one of the last of her extended family to become a Pan Knight, Magda’s Ascension came when a fun night of acting out the story of Peter Pan for a temporarily amnesiac Jesse Schucart became a fight against real Neverscape Gulag escapees. Magda, on a whim, wanted to try to summon the Nevertomes, using Nicole’s Panflute, and the words just came to her. The spell had worked, but as the spell book appeared, Magda vanished from the Cascade River, to the throne room of Palace Faye-Sol, with her parents, brother, Aunt Esther, and Nicole gathered in front of her. Summoning the Nevertomes was the first of two Pan Trials; the second was being able to finally learn the truth behind her family’s fall from grace in the original timeline (see Birth of Magda, below). While the story sounded far fetched and impossible to fathom, Magda had seen and experienced far too much of her cousins’ special powers and faith, not to be able to open herself up to the possibility that Nicole, her best friend and second-youngest cousin, had been the force that created her very existence, and having prevented horrible fates for those she loves from coming to pass as they might have.
Upon completion of this silent Pan Trial, Queen Aurora and Maddie, Magda’s aunt by marriage; gifted Magda with her Pan Powers, her Pangarb, and her gear: A shepherd’s crook-like magical wand, an adaptable javelin spear, and her flute. The latter of the accessories was unorthodox when in comparison to the Pan flutes that her cousins and fellow Team Panfan Knights had, Aurora assured her that it had all the same powers and potential as her Pan brethrens’ instruments, but that she (Aurora) knew how much Magda loves pink. Being a Pan Knight was now Magda’s new purpose, and it gave Aurora the excuse to officially adopt the DuBrau-Jones side of Maddie’s family as her own, hoping that they would accept her as a mother figure; which was absolutely impossible to think otherwise, especially after the gift that Aurora had given Rick: the chance to commune with the spirit of his birth mother from within the Ethereal Plane, and the revelation that he and Magda were technically Jewish.
The aquatic nature of Magda’s Pan Form is not a random phenomenon through the eyes of Queen Aurora and Princess Maddie. All Aurora thought about when she saw the pink effervescent glow reflected from the cod shell flute in Magda’s eyes, was that she was giving back to Magda something that had once belonged to her. Far too many revelations and action were complicating the landscape of the Neverscape that night; there was no way that Aurora or Maddie felt that Magda was prepared for the news that they were keeping under temporary wraps; the same news that Angelica had foreseen in her dreams after Nicole’s intervention in the past: that Magda is also a reincarnated soul like Ariella, Jesse, and Sophie: she was the Prime Neverzone’s Mermaid Princess Kindradell, and her resemblance to Kindra in Petra’s Neverzone is unmitigated proof of that. The only other people to have made that connection were Kindra herself, and Callie. Magda will eventually learn this for herself; it’s just a question of when. In the meantime, after the night was over, Magda pondered over why she had not met her slvskorte yet, and her new powers picked up whispers, here and there, of the name Lunaclipse…

Birth of Magda
To understand how Magda came to be, there must be clarification that the timeline that the Jones Sisters occupies is not the original timeline where her parents and grandparents were originally from. In the Collinsverse (named for writer Max Allan Collins, the creator of Angeltop and the Brow’s Son), Angelica Jones was a revenge-seeking relative who tried to murder the cop that caused her father’s death. The events of theis timeline were circumvented by a predestination paradox that resulted from Nicole Jones traveling back to the past with her slvskorte Kiki, freezing time, and using a powerful spell called the Malice Expulsion Wave (see gallery above) which purified Angelica, even changed her facial features and eye color, same with her lover, the Brow’s Son. When they saw what they wer about to do, they surrendered; made a plea deal in order to get the psychiatric treatment they needed; and married while they were in the institution.
When Magda was born, Angelica had tracked down her first-born child, Harold, and her mother Stiletta after establishing ties with Sharptop’s side of the family. Whether by coincidence or by fate, Angelica, Rebecca, and in-law cousin Lindsey, were each pregnant with girls.
***According to an inside source from the Nevertribe of the Prime Neverzone, when baby Magda was born, she possessed the soul print of one of their fallen mermaid allies after Peter’s mind fractured, giving in to his dark side. Biologically, the two women aren’t identical, but much of Kindra’s traits found their way to Magda, though no one in the Jones clan has seen the connection.***
