Familial relationships

As the oldest of his generation (slv or otherwise), Starblaze’s greatest desire was to be there for his younger siblings and cousins, but duty took him away from that for most of the time. He was not around when Rebecca gave birth to his oldest and youngest human sisters, but fought tooth and dagger to be there at AbGen for Ariella’s birth. The rigors of being a ZSF agent with special skills has tested his resolve many a time, but he continues his work only because of his love for his sisters.

Bella: Starblaze’s existence was never kept a secret from Bella, as Rebecca swore never to lie to her children about their brother; Bella, however, was the only one who ever asked. Star’s resolve and undeniable loyalty to their siblings is just as strong in Bella’s heart, and shares the pain of the burden they face with watching their sister’s grow up and to worry about their safety.

Ariella: Bella may possess a few of Star’s personality when it comes to family, but Ariella is by far the most like Starblaze: scrappy, mannish, fearless, impulsive, extremely and recklessly altrustic (self-sacrificing). It did not take long for Starblaze to learn that Ariella was Solin Fyre, reborn; and for nearly 13 years he tried to keep himself from picturing what that could mean if she followed in their Aunt Esther’s Pansteps. After her ascension, Star’s anxiety about Ariella’s future kept him up for many nights. When they finally met each other, Star was thilled beyond measure to be with his lookalike human sister, but as they trekked through the Betaverse Neverzone trying to track down Joso and Cinna, Star’s overprotectiveness took him over. Hoping to keep her out of danger, he fakely began to berate and criticize every action and decision AJ made, further escalating the tension between them. His plan worked: AJ left the Neverzone in tears, but, tragically, believing that Star didn’t love her. It broke his heart to know he made her feel that way, but he would rather have lost her, emotoinally, than to see her killed in action or by Neskomf poison. That was how much he truly loved his kid sisters. With their mother’s help, Ariella learned the reason behind his horrible behavior towards her, and both reconciled, and more: his magic restored Ariella’s powers to full, and it had the permanent caveat of allowing Solin to exist alongside herself in the real world.

Nicole: The thing about Starblaze is, is that he loves each of his sisters in differing ways, but never any more or less than the others. Nicole was their mother’s miracle baby, born long after Rebecca was left barren by the Dark Enchantment. Through their Aunt Esther’s egg donation, Nicole was fertilized in vitro within Rebecca, and thrived from then to birth and beyond. Another way that Ariella and Star are identical is how they fear for Nicole’s safety, despite knowing how mature and capable she is; far beyond her age. Nicole had no idea that Starblaze existed for most of her life, but was given a glimpse of his aura from their other sister Xammy (Star’s cousling via Esther)
